The Lomond Association

Dear Lomond Association Members,
 
Congratulations to Jessica and the Lomond Association Community Programs Committee for pulling off this ambitious project so successfully! 
 
Jessica and the whole committee have worked very hard over the past few months to get the donations and organize the logistics of the event.  It was nice to see Jessica talking on the Channel 8 news last night about our message of support for the Ogbuji family and to know that our efforts will provide some assistance to the Ogbuji’s.   
 
The excellent organization and wonderful turnout are yet another testament to our neighborhood’s vitality and spirit of community service.  In addition, the event served as a wonderful opportunity for neighbors to socialize in a welcoming atmosphere.
 
I hope we’ll never have to organize an event like this for similar circumstances, but I do hope that this spaghetti dinner was yet one event in what becomes a tradition of lively community social gatherings.
