Meeting Thursday January 10th at 7pm

Don’t forget that there is a general Association meeting scheduled this week.  Bring a friend!

    Thursday, January 10th
    7-8:30 P.M.
Lomond School Auditorium (we will set up comfortable chairs and a microphone with a speaker)

This month’s meeting will be hosted by the Foreclosure Committee, who has invited representatives from the City of Shaker to discuss the foreclosure issue in Shaker, share steps that the City has taken, and discuss options for Association members to get involved.

At the close of the last general meeting in November, we also decided to postpone any decision on members-at-large members of the Executive Committee.  Since then the Executive Council has discussed this issue.  Although we still feel that the more urgent need is for individuals to become involved in committees, we would also like to move past this issue, so we have asked the Elections Committee to prepare ballots with the names of all current member-at-large nominees and updated membership rosters.  We are proposing that the Elections Committee collect ballots for an up-or-down vote on each nominee so that we do not need to wait an additional month to elect these nominees to the Executive Committee.  If the Association approves the process, we will go ahead and hold the election on Thursday.

See below for a full copy of the meeting agenda.  We look forward to seeing you there.
